GRADED & STAMPED LOGS
Since
Strongwood is a member of the
Log Homes Council, each log that we shipped has been inspected
and stamped with a Timber Products Inspection grade stamp assuring you
of the quality of each log in your new home. Our logs are all premier
Eastern White Pine. Our beams are Douglas Fir. Hand-peeled large
handcrafted logs are Lodge Pole Pine. |

KILN
DRIED LOGS
We also
use fully kilned dried logs. This is achieved by drying our logs
for 28 to 34 days at between 170 and 180 degrees. Your benefits include:
1. Our logs are more uniform and dimensionally stable.
2. Timbers are completely sanitized killing all bugs, mold, mildew and
larvae.
3. The wood pitch is crystallized so you have not sticky sap.
4. Over 100,000 pounds of water is removed from the typical log home
packate
5. Strength and stiffness are increased.
6. Interior and exterior finishes can be applied immediately and are
longer lasting. |

D-logs also come in 6x8, 8x8, 10x8, 6x12 and
8x12 sizes.

with a Corner Post Corner, smooth, standard V-groove finish
[pictured]. This style has a more
contemporary, timber frame look at a lot less price.
Square logs can be 6x12 or 8x12.

Very popular in many parts of North America and

Double D-Logs can be 8x8 plus some custom
